Shelly Toonie from Moonshine creates extremely cute outfits that I love to accessorize. However, with these I don't accessorize much. Sometimes, less is more and I truly follow that rule. I am not keen on using every single attachment point on my avie to add stuff and I am not even good at resize/editing prims and then attach them to a different spot. Bah! I like to wear them as they are, like most people do (me thinks). Oh well, I just hope I did a good job showing off some of the latest clothing that you can find at Moonshine.
There are two more details I want to point out: hair and boots.
The hair is all from Maitreya by Onyx LeShelle and it's plain gorgeous. I do think Onyx came a long way into hair making. Even though her first hairdos were great, I think that the textures now are awesome and the hairdos even better.
Boots are one of my passions. I simply love boots and the latest by Emma Gilmour of Sand Shack Co. are exceptional. By wearing the same boots in different colours, I am hoping to give you an idea of the versatility of them. Emma did an amazing sculpties work with these. The top on the boots comes with neutral, bright and muted colours to choose from and with so many options you can't go wrong with the Elsa boots.

the other (viewers)
the other (viewers)
Before I became aware that there were other viewers to log in Second Life® besides the official one, I used to always use the Release Candidate viewer. Somehow, the RC always had a better performance than the official viewer which is weird - I know. Usually, in the RC it's expected to crash a lot more and have a poor performance but, for me, it was always the other way around. So, one day I decided to try the alternate viewers and got used to have 3 or 4 SL™ viewers in my desktop.
Lately, my preference goes to the Emerald viewer and it's quite easy to understand why. The team behind the Emerald build is one that listens to what SLers want in a viewer. We, residents, give suggestions and see them implemented with each release. Or the releases completely blows us away with the new features implemented. C'mom - how many viewers have a built in radar and AO and also extra attachment options?
Residents who use third party viewers with the functionality described above to violate our Terms of Service or Community Standards, will be warned and then suspended from the service.
Reading something like this make me thing if I am doing something wrong by using an alternate viewer, like Emerald, Imprudence or Kristen's viewer?

tutorial | Anti-Analising
According to the wikipedia, Anti-Analising is
In digital signal processing, anti-aliasing is the technique of minimizing the distortion artifacts known as aliasing when representing a high-resolution signal at a lower resolution. Anti-aliasing is used in digital photography, computer graphics, digital audio, and many other applications.
For me it's the difference between a pixelized image and a perfect image. By default and until yesterday, I never had any issues whatsoever with AA but now I have to use the AA features in the SL™ to cope with this issue. I have seen lots of pictures in the SL™ feeds showing pixels... Mayhaps, people simply don't know how to solve it or maybe they haven't noticed it yet. So, here's a quick and dirty way to solve this issue.
Can you tell the difference between these two pics? If not, click on the images for full size and look at the arms more closely. See it? The first pic doesn't have Anti-Analising and the second does. That's why you won't see pixels or rough edges in the avatar.
These images are unedited and using the same WindLight settings.
The way to solve this issue is to manually increase the value of AA in the Hardware options of the Preferences menu:
However, when I do that, using the normal Second Life® viewer, this is what I see:
... but it's working perfectly in the Cool Viewer (as you can see by the previous blog posts).
tutorial | upgrade or downgrade your graphics card drivers
I read somewhere (on plurk probably) that most people wouldn't know how to upgrade or downgrade their graphics card. And that got me thinking that would be nice to write a blog post about it. Not everyone has to know to do it but a little more knowledge won't hurt a bit.
Before you do anything to your computer make sure you have a backup of your current driver and the latest driver. And, if you decide to this, you are doing it at your own risk and this blog does not take any responsibility for any damage you may cause to your computer.
Most graphics card come with a CD with drivers. The first you should do when getting a new computer is to install ALL of the CDs to have the most updated drivers... until the moment the CD was burned. That means that even if you install the driver from the CD, you can still be installing an old driver.
For the latest driver, you should download directly from the manufacturer website, in my case, NVIDIA (or EVGA as my graphics is actually an EVGA with a NVIDIA chipset):
Or you can use the guru3D website to find older drivers or other cool stuff. Another extremely handy is the Driver Sweep that you can find the same website. But, remember that:
The software available from Guru3d.com/HardwareGuru.com are provided "as is" with NO TECHNICAL SUPPORT. All software is to be used at your own risk; this site does not take any responsibility for any damage in whatever form or context.

freebie culture - take 2
So, I run a pose shop inSL and decided to get a Lucky Chair and a Midnight Mania game to get more traffic. Obviously, it didn't work as I expected and only I got were headaches...
[14:01] name removed: hello any chance you are online ?
[me] No. I am offline... responding by email
[14:07] name removed: err i just left you a note card...... but i will tell you what is on it.... i registered for your MM last night, and i've search my inventory i dont see it anywhere i know how to search to make sure its not misplaced or something.... is there any chance you could resend the fresh poses pack
[14:07] name removed: when you are online i mean
[me] You registered in...? Sorry, didn't get it.
[14:13] name removed: correct
[me] I am not following. what have you registering in...? I went to my transaction history and your name is not there.
[14:24] name removed: i was suppose to get a copy of your fresh poses from last nights MM board....... it said it was delievering it..... but i never got it......
[me] oh... I am sorry. It's a game and if the board didn't deliver I can't replace it as I don't have any way to verify it. Also, the board will be removed soon like the lucky chair and lucky letters were removed
[14:31] name removed: you cannot take my word on it ? i mean if i were trying to cheat you, or anyone, surely i would/could come up with a better plan or story, other than i didnt get a MM gift
[me] I am sorry you didn't receive your freebie from a game but, however, all the poses are for sale in my store and you can buy them...
[14:49] name removed: thank you :) if i had the extra money or the inclination to buy them i would never have wasted the last half hour typing back and forth with you about it.... i would simply have bought it..... it seems your not very sympathetic or helpful and thats your perogative :) if you think that style earns you a better customer base then by all means :) me myself i know i would support and buy from a store that was nice and helpfull, twice as fast as i would buy from one that was stingy and a tight wad..... if i misunderstand you, or your having a bad day, i am sorry.... but if this is your normal way, its prolly for the best i dont have it.... and so i need not bother you for anything again in the future.....
Dear freebie collector, whenever you have the extra money for my extremely affordable poses (that ranges from 22L$ to 75L$) and the inclination you are more than welcome to come back.
Thank you for spending the last hour typing with me and I am truly sorry for wasting your time while I was responding at work through my email. Don't you worry that next time I won't take your time...

You can find all info here along with a contact form. I don't plan on having limited space for ads as the idea is to have rotating ads like most websites have. This is also the way AdSense works. However, all the ads will have the same priority and the same probability of been shown.
The ADs can be 125 x 125 pixels or 468 x 90 pixels.
The payment will be made through a (scripted) prim placed in my blog HQ for both solutions: only my blog or Joint ADs. For now, the partnership is only between my blog and JuicyBomb...

about advertising
Since hosting and domain aren't free, besides all the Google Ads I have in my blog, I am considering having SL™ ads. In the past I said I wouldn't have SL™ ads but times are changing... I truly hope you won't consider this unethical of me but I do need the revenue to sustain my blog and to help my finances inSL.

review | (Kunglers) Amazonia, Emilie, Alee, Copacabana and Medusa
I haven't posted about Kunglers by Avagardner and Barbra Kunglers in a while. Actually, for a long time. I preferred to hold back some of these garments instead of posting them right way due to their over exposure. Did I made any sense? Probably not...
In this posts, I am showing old not so recent sets and also the December releases. The Kunglers still remain talented and with great ideas. Although, I noticed some minor seams issue in some of the sets but might have to do with one of unsolved SL issues. On the other hand, they offer layer options and even attachment options. The prims are mod and some of them I tinted back to white.
Their creations remain innovating and full of detail. I must point out that in some of the sets they include manicure, earrings and even necklaces. I am still hoping that they will branch out to accessories and create a department at Kunglers for the accessories only.

review | [MG fashion] Lune chic sweater dress
Some time ago, I begged suggested Maria Gherardi from MG fashion some sweater dresses (and a few other things). She thought it would be a good idea and started working in this fabulous piece. A few days ago, she showed the first pic and I threw a name that she liked and the Lune chic sweater dresses were created.
They are extremely versatility, not only due to all the layers Maria included, but also because of the different lengths and options. You can wear with hoodie or with collar, as a short sweater or as a long dress sweater. You can even wear without the prims at the bottom and it looks amazing. The sweater dresses are available in 18 colours as separates and also as fatpacks. All the darker fatpacks include the charcoal version.
